Grant Description

Chinese Government pledges funding through loan framework agreement On 23 November, 2017, representatives of the Chinese government and the Government of Djibouti signed a framework agreement for the provision of future loans (优惠贷款框架协议). No loans were issued at the time that the framework agreement was signed since it only represents a pledge.

This agreement was signed during a visit of Djibouti's President Ismail Omar Guelleh to China to visit Chinese President Xi Jinping.
