Grant Description

On December 27th, 2007, the Chinese Government held a handover ceremony for the donation of disaster relief aid materials to the Malagasy National Disaster Relief Committee in Antananarivo. The materials included generator sets, pump units, and tents.

Malagasy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Lieutenant General Charles Rabemanan Yala, and Chinese Ambassador, Zhou Mansheng, attended the handover ceremony and signed the certificate. The use of this batch of materials is aimed at fighting natural disasters such as hurricanes.
