BRITISH COLUMBIA PACIFIC COASTAL & CANADIAN WETLANDS CONSERVATION

This project will result in 1,250 acres of secured and 383 acres of enhanced migratory bird habitat.

Additionally, 419,744 acres of habitat will be impacted through management activities and 3,000 will be influenced by stewardship activities.

These actions will deliver science-based habitat conservation activities to achieve North American Waterfowl Management Plan goals in the British Columbia Prairie Bird Habitat Joint Venture and the Canadian Intermountain Joint Venture.

Proposed activities support the five-year Implementation Plans approved for both joint ventures and will continue to target joint venture waterfowl priority areas.
