On April 12, 2013, China donated two sweeping vehicles for sanitation in Cotonou City.

According to "驻贝宁大使陶卫光参加宁波市向科托努市赠送清扫车仪式," the vehicles were donated by Ningbo Municipal Government.

Hong Jiaxiang, Deputy Mayor of Ningbo City, and Soglo, First Deputy Mayor of Cotonou City, attended the donation ceremony.

Ambassador Zhu Weiguang from Benin attended the ceremony to present a sweeping vehicle ceremony to Cotonou City in Ningbo City.
