Grant Description

On December 29th, 2009, the Chinese government held a handover ceremony for the donation of medicines and medical equipment to the 17th Chinese Medical Team of Madagascar at the Ministry of Health. The medical team includes 30 members working in four Malagasy medical centers. Commercial Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy to Madagascar, Mr.

Zhou Mansheng, and Director of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of Public Health, Amade Amade, attended the ceremony.

As part of a protocol signed by the two governments to send Chinese medical teams to Madagascar, the batch of medicines and medical equipment are distributed annually to the teams.

These yearly package include the following projects: Chinese Government donates medicine and medical equipment to Madagascar in 2007 (#59703), in 2008 (#19694), in 2010 (#59716), and in 2016 (#59719)
