China Development Bank and BDEAC pledge EUR 300 million loan for small and medium-sized enterprises In October 2013, during the visit of the president of Republic of Congo to China, China Development Bank (CDB) and the Development Bank of Central African States (BDEAC) signed an agreement to provide a 300 million euro loan to Republic of Congo.

The proceeds of the loan were to be used to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). According to the Agence D’Information, the loan was scheduled to disburse in 2014.
