Grant Description

The Exim Bank of China is reportedly to fund an Uplands (Limuru) substation project in 2020 expected to cost 16 million USD (0.8 bn Ksh).

The project involves building two 132/66 KV 23MVA substations aiming to increase access and connectivity through reinforcement of the transmission and distribution grid. The projected commissioning date for this project is December 2023.
