Grant Description

In September 2018 at the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), a representative of the Chinese Government signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) granting RMB 200 million to the Government of Botswana for unspecified development projects.

At the same meeting, the Chinese Government cancelled RMB 52.9 million of the Government of Botswana's outstanding debt obligations (captured in Record ID#58337).
