On May 19 and 20, 2017, China donated anti-malarial medicine to Hanamboini village on Grande Comore and asked all the villagers to take the medicine for the anti-malaria campaign (see Record ID#409 for details). The campaign experienced an exceptionally high rate of efficacy.
Not only is China said to have provided the medication, but Chinese medical experts from Guangzhou University also helped devise the distribution strategy and were on-site to help deliver the medication.
