Grant Description
ICBC offers a credit line to Amen Bank On July 7, 2017 at the Tunis Forum, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) and Amen Bank, a private sector Tunisian bank, signed a partnership agreement for investment and financing cooperation.
The agreement was intended to establish two types of financing, a framework for the granting of syndicated loans to finance major projects in Tunisia and the opening of an unlimited credit line for Amen Bank for medium and long term on-lending to public and private Tunisian companies working in all sectors of the economy and in Tunisia and Africa.
Funding from the credit line would be for projects with a Chinese component, and funding requests would be submitted to Amen Bank for approval, then presented to the ICBC for bank financing or charging to the credit line.
