Grant Description

On January 16, 2018, the Chinese ambassador to Mauritania, Zhang Jianguo, signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) with the Mauritanian Minister of Economy and Finance.

Through the ETCA, China will provide an RMB 300 million grant to Mauritania to help the country with the implementation of projects including the Capital Overpass modernization (see Record ID#87994) and x-ray monitoring instruments. The current status of the two projects are unknown.
