Grant Description

On December 12, 2013, the Chinese Government and the Government of Mauritania signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA), which committed RMB 140 million of grant funding for the acquisition of sporting equipment (see Record ID#73334), the acquisition of container inspection equipment (see Record ID#57245), and technical assistance related to the second phase of an administrative buildings projects.

It is not known how these funds were distributed across these three activities/projects.

This RMB 140 million grant was committed at the same time as an RMB 200 million interest-free loan (see Record ID#56813).
