On October 12, 2018, Chinese navy hospital ship Ark Peace, which is on the "Harmonious Mission 2018", arrived at the Port of Roseau of Dominica for an eight-day friendly visit.

It carried out a series of activities during the visit, including offering free medical services to 5000 local people and staff of Chinese-funded institutions, providing medical training and holding cultural entertainment events.
