Grant Description

On October 30, 2017, the Chinese Ambassador signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) worth 7.3 million USD with the Government of Seychelles. According to the Seychelles News Agency, this 7.3 million USD was provided through a grant.

About 18.9 million SCR (1.4 million USD) of these funds are for rebuilding the Seychelles Business Studies Academy (SBSA) and Seychelles Institute of Art and Design (SIAD) (Record ID#55584), and another 18 million SCR (1.34 million USD) will go towards rebuilding a new school on Ile Aurore (Record ID#55589).

The remaining 4.56 million USD is unaccounted for.
