Grant Description

On July 16, 2008, the Chinese and Central African Republic governments signed an economic and technical cooperation agreement (ETCA).

As part of this agreement, China provided a RMB 60 million grant to the Central African Republic government to finance subprojects selected by the two governments, including the installation of additional transmitters for Radio Centrafrique in the town of Bimbo.

The terms of the implementation of the ETCA were to be determined by China Development Bank (CDB) and the Ministry of Finance and Budget of the Central African Republic.
