Chinese Government provides 1.5 billion CFA interest-free loan for social and economic development projects In early June 2003, the Government of the Central African Republic signed an interest-free loan agreement of 1.5 billion CFA (approximately $2.5 million USD) with the People's Republic of China for the implementation of social and economic development projects.
