Grant Description

On October 24, 2007, the Chinese Government and the Government of Costa Rica signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA), which committed RMB 200 million of grant funding for unspecified technology, culture, public health, and agriculture projects.

China Development Bank was designated as the institution responsible for disbursing the funds to the Government of Costa Rica. Further details on the utilization of the funds were to be determined in later agreements.
