Grant Description
The Iraq Graduate Studies Program provides advanced U.S. based masters studies training in agriculture to 37 Iraqi students from Iraqi government, universities, and the private sector. This program supports the long term sustainability of US agricultural programs initiated by the U.S. Department of Defense, Task Force to Improve Business and Stability Operations (DOD/TFBSO) and USDA in Iraq.
Following the completion of their master's studies at a U.S. university, participants have committed to return to Iraq and work for at least two years in agriculture related fields.
