Grant Description

Indigenous and rural communities throughout Bolivia are eager to protect important local ecosystems which include parts of the Amazon and Gran Chaco Americano while fostering sustainable livelihoods.

They often face obstacles in engaging and mobilizing resources from public and private sector actors to address these priorities.

The IAF supports community-led solutions to unlock private public and community resources for grassroots development in Bolivia.

Fundación Semilla will expand its social-environmental fund to support grassroots initiatives led by community-based organizations that strive to sustainably manage territories and improve livelihoods.

Fundacion Semilla will strengthen its administrative financial programmatic and operational capacities and its ability to engage local national and international partners so it can scale up its grantmaking.
