Grant Description

Farmers living in Desarmes, LArtibonite, Haiti, often lack sufficient water for their crops, diminishing their ability to produce food for their families and earn revenue.

The IAF supports community-led solutions to expand economic opportunities through sustainable agriculture and microenterprises.

Our grantee partner, Association des Irrigants de Maury (AIM), is repairing irrigation systems, strengthening management practices, establishing a seed bank, and expanding farmers access to credit. These strategic investments will increase farmers food security and incomes
