Grant Description
On April 7, 2016, the Chinese Government and the Government of Sri Lanka signed a RMB 13 million grant agreement for the supply 8 mobile screening laboratories for chronic kidney disease in North Central Province. The purpose of this project is to help diagnose chronic kidney diseases.
Each vehicle carries 13 medical equipment, including medical refrigerators, urine analyzers, blood cell analyzers, automatic biochemical analyzers, microplate readers, plate washers, electrolyte analyzers and centrifuges. On January 10, 2022, the two sides signed a handover agreement for the 8 vehicles.
On September 26, 2022, the vehicles officially were handed over and began operation.
