The purpose of this program was to extend the low voltage network to poorly electrified and poorly served villages; electrify 282 villages with 1000 inhabitants or more; and provide solar electrification to 3,000 households in 900 villages with fewer than 500 inhabitants. It was undertaken in the following locations: Diourbel, Fatick, Kaolack, Kolda, Louga, Matam, St.
Louis, Tambacounda, Thies and Ziguinchor.
