Strengthening Production, Productivity, Processing and Marketing of Basic Grains in the department of Usulutn

Smallholder farmers in El Salvador face a number of challenges to grow and process their crops assure better nutrition for their families and access markets.

Asociacin Cooperativa de Comercializacin y Produccin Agrcola Compaero Erick (ACOPROERICK) trains and provides technical assistance in organic production of basic grains fruits and vegetables. At the IAF we support community-led solutions to expand economic opportunity in El Salvador.

ACOPROERICK's activities support smallholder agriculture and food production to enhance food security improve farmer's income and ensure meaningful opportunities for communities to thrive. This grant is part of the IAF's efforts to address the root causes of irregular migration in Central America.
