Strengthening a smallholder organic agriculture network in Paraguay

Small farmers in rural Paraguay often lack access to markets to sell their goods, limiting their potential to generate income. The IAF supports community-led approaches to expand economic opportunity.

Our grantee partner, Paraguay Orgnico (PY Orgnico), helps small farmer organizations break into and benefit from expanding organic markets.

This grant will allow PY Orgnico to extend its efforts on three fronts: train farmers to differentiate their products, connect farmers to potential markets, and strengthen its own organizational capacities.

As a result, farmers will be better prepared to meet evolving market requirements and PY Orgnico will be an even stronger partner going forward.
