Grant Description

On June 30, 2015, Zhao Yanbo, Chinese Ambassador of Sierra Leone, attended the launching ceremony of the “China Ambassador Scholarship” program at the University of Sierra Leone (“中国大使奖学金”).

Ambassador Zhao and President of Tsing Thompson signed the "Cooperation Agreement between the Chinese Embassy in Sierra Leone and the University of Sierra Leone on the establishment of the "Chinese Ambassador Scholarship" at the ceremony. On December 17, 2015, ambassador Zhao conferred scholarships to 15 students during a ceremony at the Chinese Embassy.
