Grant Description

On September 16, 2015, the City of Kinshasa hosted the opening ceremony of the Kinshasa Community Football Stadium in Democratic Republic of Congo (stadium name in Chinese: 金沙萨社区足球场). The renovation of the stadium was funded by the Chinese Government.

Wang Tongqing, the Chinese Ambassador, said that the stadium would create a good growth environment for young people and promote the long-term development of the country. The amount of financing provided for the project is unknown. This project is completed.
