Grant Description

In August 2016, the People's Republic of China provided 120 full scholarships for Kenyan University students to study their respective disciplines in China.

The scholarships cover a wide range of university levels, including PhD and Masters degree programs along with undergraduate studies at multiple institutions in China.

These scholarships are a component of the 200 plus scholarships and 500 training opportunities for Kenyan students to study and receive specialized education in China in 2016.

At the time these scholarships were provided, more than 300 Kenyan students were studying at Chinese Universities via scholarship opportunities funded by the Chinese Government. The scholarships have been provided, however, their total cost is unknown.
