Grant Description

Yanapuma Foundation (YANAPUMA), $29,740 over twelve months YANAPUMA will work in the indigenous Tsa'chila community of Bua to improve nutrition and income by cultivating organic cacao, fruit and vegetables using methods compatible with the responsible use of the environment.

Training will emphasize the revival of a tree species and reforestation to decrease erosion and the contamination of local rivers. (EC-416)
