ZTE funds construction of Equatorial Guinea’s first communications training institute in Oyala

In 2013, at the request of the government of Equatorial Guinea, ZTE Corporation and Xidian University began an educational cooperation project with the country, including providing an overall construction plan for ITC training schools for Equatorial Guinea and establishing a communication training school.

On August 2, 2015, the Chinese Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment Corporation (ZTE) completed the construction of Oyala Communications Training Institute in Equatorial Guinea. This Oyala institute is the first communications institute to be both funded and constructed by ZTE.

It serves to provide comprehensive training for the Equatorial Guineans alongside cutting edge media technologies imported from China, and in turn promoting the development of ICT-based smart education. The completion ceremony was attended by Mr.
