Grant Description
G. GUIA ($193,135 over two years; counterpart committed: $65,014) in response to drought in southern Honduras, G.
Gua will expand its work to three new communities, serving 100 additional families, to promote collective action towards the installation of infrastructure for water collection, irrigation and grain storage. In conjunction with five other IAF grantees in Honduras, G.
Gua will develop strategies and implement practices aimed at helping farmers cope with climate change, focusing on improving food security, promoting health and reducing the pressures that contribute to migration.
