Grant Description

On October 10 2015, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and Cape Verdean Prime Minister Jose Ulysses Correia da Silva met to discuss bilateral relations ahead of the Macau Forum on Economic Trade.

During the meeting it is reported that China pledged a donation of $15.4 million and debt forgiveness of $1.54 million (see #52205). At the Macau Forum, China pledged to donate a total of 2 billion yuan ($298 million) to Portuguese-speaking countries.
