The project will directly benefit 3,600 indigenous Paraguayans in the communities served and will indirectly benefit 6,000 other indigenous Paraguayans.

Sunu will also work to improve food security in Angait and Av Guaran indigenous communities by training residents in gardening and animal husbandry and to reconcile modern and traditional practices directed at resolving internal conflicts and protecting rights.

The experience will be documented and shared with government agencies, educational centers and civil society organizations in an effort to further the awareness of the rights and culture expressions of indigenous Paraguayans and enable their exercise.
