Strengthening organization al processes, community and collective action in defense of territory

Asociacin para el Desarrollo Campesino (ADC in Colombia).

ADC will work with its member mingas, or organizations, and with other community groups in the municipalities of Pasto, Buesaco, Chachagui, Ipiales, Puerres and Yacuanquer to encourage practices that benefit the environment and help farmers remain on their land. The grassroots members will form a network.

ADC's program also includes environmental education in primary schools. The project will benefit 700 Colombians directly and 2,000 indirectly.
