Grant Description

For farming communities in the southern region of the Francisco Morazn department, repeated droughts threaten food security and income generation.

Asociacin de Consejeros para una Agricultura Sostenible, Ecolgica y Humana (COSECHA) provides technical assistance to farmers in the use of environmentally responsible farming methods and works to improve water management practices. At the IAF, we support community-led solutions to expand economic opportunity in Honduras.

COSECHA's activities promote smallholder agriculture and food production to enhance food security and ensure meaningful opportunities for communities to thrive. This grant is part of the IAF's efforts to address the root causes of irregular migration in Central America.
