Grant Description

This activity will focus on developing a collaborative relationship with the Philippines Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

They have been focusing on setting up community forestry regulations and community groups but realized that these newly formed groups do not have the capacity to manage forests. The Forest Service is interested in helping the Philippines to build capacity to fill this gap.
