Grant Description

Training midlevel agriculturalists on various agriculture-related topics, such as sustainable agriculture, forestry, SPS, and food safety, among others.

The objectives of the training are to help countries meet their domestic food needs as well as enhance links with U.S. agricultural interests.

In FY07, approximately 706 individuals received such training resulting in a better understanding of regulatory and safety systems as well as an increased technical ability in their home countries.
