Grant Description

The National Strategy for Pandemic Influenza highlights the importance of USG collaboration with a variety of organizations to combat highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI). The strategy underscores the urgency of prevention, control, and eradication of HPAI.

USDA is collaborating with international organizations, multilaterals, and individual countries to build economies' preparedness and response capacities.

USDA focuses its bilateral and multilateral capacity-building activities--workshops, training, and technical expertise--in USG-designated priority countries.
