Grant Description
Grupo Asociativo Agropecuario El Progreso Ciudadela de Bombon (El Progreso) in Colombia will work closely with two other IAF grantees, Asociacin de Comunidades Andinas de Nario (Tierrandina) and Asociacin de Usuarios del Distrito de Adecuacin de Tierras de Pequea Escala San Miguel De Cariaco Bajo (Distrito de Riego), toward creating an organization that will represent the interests of multiple community-led organizations, which will be called the Asociacin de Productores del Galeras (Asoprogaleras).
The grant will directly benefit 125 coffee farmers in the municipality of Consac.
