Grant Description

Coalicin Indgena de Migrantes de Chiapas, A.C. (CIMICH) will work with 29 Comits Comunitarios Transnacionales, or transnational community committees (CCTs), in seven municipalities of the Chiapas highlands to help resettle indigenous Tsotsil and Tseltal migrants returning to their communities of origin and encourage their participation in municipal rural development councils and in initiatives to generate income.

The grant will benefit 550 Tsotsil and Tseltal Mexicans directly and another 1,450 members of their families indirectly.
