Grant Description

Casa Alianza (CAN) will conduct outreach to young people and their parents in three low- income neighborhoods of Managua.

It will provide the adults and older children training in job skills and in microenterprise development, offer young people opportunities to participate in internships and sports leagues, and make available seed capital to support the new businesses expected to form.

Its resources include a residential drug treatment center for 90 young people and a shelter for 25 teen mothers and their babies.
