Grant Description

Bahia Street will offer 120 girls and young women between the ages of 6 and 17 classes to supplement their school curriculum, instruction in health and nutrition, and career counseling and mentoring toward a successful transition to high school and university.

Other aspects of its program are expected to reach another 170 Brazilians, including the students' parents, caregivers and teachers as well as additional students in public schools in Salvador da Bahia.
