On March 18, 2010, to help the disaster relief and rehabilitation effort of Fiji after Cyclone Tomas, the Chinese Embassy in Fiji donated FJD$50,000.00 to the Prime Minister's National Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation Fund. The donation was handed over to the Prime Minister's Office.
