Grant Description

Peru will strengthen its network of rural women who use training, economic projects and radio programs to promote preventive health practices, gender equity and income generation in 55 indigenous communities on the banks of the Maraon and Tigre tributaries of the Amazon River. The activities will reach 30,000 women in the riverside communities.
