Grant Description
ALTPET will expand its program to prepare high school students for the vestibular, a mandatory entrance exam for college or technical school.
It will conduct a market study as a basis for developing new technical courses that meet the growing demands of Manaus' Industrial Park.
The ultimate goal is to update ALTPET's programs and transform the organization into a technical training institute that will prepare students for the local job market.
The project will directly benefit 1,200 young adults through the training program and an additional 34,000 community residents through a newsletter, technology center and library. (BR-859)
