Agriculture/Food Production Grant

Organizacin Campesina Regional de Concepcin (OCRC) will develop and implement a long- term organizational plan to strengthen its capacity as a grassroots organization by serving as a training center to meet the needs of its members.

The project will also help members develop advocacy skills and build more effective relationships to gather support for community-led sustainable local development initiatives from departmental and municipal governments and other public entities.

OCRC will provide technical assistance to member families on improving soil fertility and adopting agroecological practices to improve their food security. It will also provide vocational training for youth in motorcycle repair and maintenance. Approximately 450 people will benefit directly and 1350 will benefit indirectly from the project.
