Agriculture/Food Production Grant

Fundacion Nicaraguense Cosecha Sostenible (FUNCOS) will work with approximatedly 30 communities in the Municipalities of Kukra Hill and Bluefields to increase and diversify their agricultural production in an environmentally responsible way and promote the rational and sustainable use of the natural resources of the region.

FUNCOS, in conjunction with the project participants will store, process, and market products such as cacao, coconuts, tropical roots, and vegetables to sell in the local, national, and international markets. The project will benefit approximately 350 farmers and their families.
