Grant Description

Alternativas para Pequena Agricultura no Tocantins (APA-TO) will develop and apply new technologies that help communities and ecosystems in the north of Tocantins state adapt to the effects of climate change. It will also work to generate income from nontimber forest products and diversify the food supply.

This project should benefit 500 farmers directly and 5,000 other Brazilians indirectly.
