Grant Description

Alter Vida in Paraguay will work in tandem with the small dairy cooperative Ciervo Cu to increase their members' income by improving their production, their ability to negotiate with their clients for better prices and their advocacy to their local government for better services.

The members will also begin the transition from conventional to "agroecological" practices that improve food security and protect the environment. The project will benefit 500 Paraguayans directly and another 1,500 indirectly.
