Grant Description

The Borlaug Fellowship Program promotes food security and economic growth by providing training and collaborative research opportunities to fellows from developing and middle-income countries.

Using AI and other genomic tools in oil palm, an alternative renewable source to fossil energy and metabolites, to develop improved genotypes and to advance conventional breeding methods implemented in oil palm to accomplish increased genetic gains.
