Grant Description

On November 10, 2014, China sent the first team of 12 public health trainers to help fight Ebola in Sierra Leone.

China planned to send over 1,000 medical workers and experts to West Africa in the coming months in its latest bid to aid African countries' fight against the Ebola virus.

The public health trainers will train 4000 common villagers, help build demonstration bases, and the Bio-safety III lab P3. They worked in Sierra Leone for 3 months.
